Russian troops launched drones over Ukraine, the Air Force Command reported on the evening of November 16.

In particular, the military recorded the movement of a drone in the Sumy region heading for the Poltava region.

A group of drones is moving in the north of Poltava Oblast, heading for Cherkasy Oblast.

“Enemy UAVs on the border of Cherkasy and Kyiv regions – the direction is southwest. A strike drone in the north of Poltava Region, heading for Cherkasy Region,” another message says.

The Air Force also warned about the activity of Russian tactical aircraft in the north-eastern direction.

An air alert was declared in several areas in the north and east.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes by the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
