The participants of the action expect the heads of the foreign affairs committees of the parliaments of eight EU countries to join them.

MPs from Germany, Finland, Sweden, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Poland arrived in Tbilisi to discuss the past elections, reports of massive irregularities, the progress of investigations and the current situation. The ruling party called the visit involved and refused to meet with the MEPs.

The President of Georgia and representatives of the opposition met with the delegation. In the morning, civil activists met EU deputies near the presidential residence.

The head of the committee on foreign relations of the Seimas of Lithuania, Zhigimantas Pavilenis, said that the Georgian government “does not pass the exam”, speaking about the prospects of Georgia’s accession to the European Union. According to him, the “Georgian dream is lying”, claiming that it can be a guarantor of Georgia’s accession to the EU.
