Details: The crews of the “ACHILLES” battalion destroyed 3 BMP and 1 tank, another 1 BMP was damaged.
In repulsing the attack, the 92nd OSHBr, together with the 116th OMBr, the 114th OBr TrO and 1 BrOP “Bureviy” participated in the repulse of the attack.
What preceded:
- On December 11, the battalion of unmanned attack aircraft complexes “Achilles” together with the guardsmen of the First Presidential Brigade of NSU “Bureviy” and paratroopers of the 77th separate airmobile brigade repelled an attempted mechanized offensive of Russian troops in the Kupyansk direction, destroying one tank, three BMP, three MT-LB enemy .
- Anton Shmagailo, the commander of the first strike company of the Achilles BpAK battalion of the 92nd OShBr, assumed that the Russians were ordered to reach specific goals in the direction of a specific date – probably to capture Kupyansk-Vuzlovy before the New Year.
- On December 18, the battalion of unmanned attack aircraft complexes “Achilles” inflicted significant losses on the enemy in the Kupyan direction, destroying 21 units of Russian military equipment.
