Her example of courage, love for Ukraine and self-sacrifice will forever remain in our hearts. In the summer, we welcomed Happy 100th birthday to Angelina. Angelina Palamar was born on August 16, 1924 in the Carpathian village of Sheshory in the Kosiv district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region. As a young woman, she joined the ranks of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army, and was a liaison in the underground. For her devotion to Ukraine, she passed through the millstones of the Bolshevik torture chambers, serving her sentence in cold Siberia for fourteen long years, the Kosiv RDA reported.
