In Ternopil, the number of victims of a Russian missile attack has increased to 32 people, including six children, the State Emergency Service reported in a telegram.

According to the State Emergency Service, the rescuers found the body of another woman under the rubble of the destroyed building.

Seven people are considered missing.

Rescue operations continue.

Mayor Serhii Nadal added that the dismantling of reinforced concrete stairwell structures and removal of construction debris continues. 104 rescuers and 31 units of equipment are working on site.

As a result of the Russian attack on November 19, residential buildings were hit in Ternopil. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, two residential 9-story buildings were damaged in the city: in one – a fire, in the other – destruction from the 3rd to the 9th floor.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi announced on November 20 that the Russian missile that hit the high-rise building in Ternopil contained 175 foreign components that are still entering Russia to circumvent sanctions.

The Russian military regularly attacks Ukrainian regions with various types of weapons – attack UAVs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, and anti-aircraft missiles.

The leadership of Russia denies that the Russian army during a full-scale war inflicts targeted strikes on the civilian infrastructure of the cities and villages of Ukraine, killing the civilian population and destroying hospitals, schools, kindergartens, energy and water supply facilities.

The Ukrainian authorities and international organizations qualify these strikes as war crimes of the Russian Federation and emphasize that they are purposeful in nature.
