Illustrative photo It was possible to return ten more children who lived in the temporarily occupied Kherson region with their parents and guardians to the territory controlled by Ukraine. Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of Kherson OVA, announced this on September 17.
“Fortunately, now the children are already on free land. Returning children is always a difficult process, especially emotionally. After crossing the Ukrainian border, our boys and girls immediately received the necessary psychological and medical assistance,” he noted.
According to him, the team of the charitable organization “Save Ukraine” worked on this return.
“I am sincerely grateful that more and more of our children are safe. Since the beginning of 2024 alone, 202 children from the Kherson region have been returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine,” noted Oleksandr Prokudin.
As ArmiyaInform reported, 2 people were killed, including 1 child, as a result of Russian shelling in the Kherson region last day. 3 more people were injured.
