Syrsky announced this on Facebook.
“Had a telephone conversation with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the French Republic, General Thierry Burkar. During the conversation, he shared information about the operational situation on the front line. I informed my French colleague about the specifics of defense operations in the most tense areas,” wrote the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
According to him, General Burkar confirmed the intentions of the French side to continue the provision of logistical assistance and training of Ukrainian servicemen within the framework of the EU training mission (EUMAM). Adaptation of training programs in accordance with the needs and taking into account the combat experience of the Armed Forces is currently underway.
As reported, the Minister of the Armed Forces of France, Sebastien Lecornu, said that France will transfer about ten more long-range Scalp missiles to Ukraine.
Paris does not deny Ukraine’s use of SCALP air-launched cruise missiles for strikes on the territory of the Russian aggressor country.
