Syrsky: Defense forces managed to stabilize the situation in the Pokrovsky direction

General Oleksandr Syrsky, commander -in -chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, says that the defense forces stabilized the situation in the Pokrovsky direction of Donetsk region, and sometimes intercepted a tactical initiative.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, for the day on May 5, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 78 attacks of the aggressor in the areas of settlements of Sukha Balka, Stara Nikolaevka, Water Second, Novotoretske, Shevchenko, Lucky, Uspenivka, Troitskoye, Kotlyarivka, Bogdanivka.
