In total, Ukraine evacuated 14 women and 41 children from the Rog camp. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine told that it was a closed Kurdish camp in the northeast of Syria “Rogia”. The evacuated Ukrainian has been actually in a captive for six years. She is now with children in the territory of Ukraine, where her relatives met.

– In total, there were 89 Ukrainian citizens in the Rog camp, most of whom – women, including Crimea, who for various reasons went to Syria in search of a better life and found themselves in difficult life circumstances. Citizens who were successfully evacuated from the Syrian camp are mostly praised that they once decided to leave their native Ukraine, – the GUR said.
