This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andriy Sybiga on the X network (Twitter).
He emphasized that today the Russian occupiers inflicted one of the most massive strikes – drones and missiles hit cities, civilians and critical infrastructure.
“This is the true answer of the war criminal Putin to all those who have called and visited him recently,” Sybiga said.
Ukraine needs peace through force, not appeasement, added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Today, November 17, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine – they launched about 120 missiles and 90 drones. Air defense forces destroyed 140 out of 210 air targets.
During the night and morning of Sunday, November 17, the Defense Forces of Ukraine detected and destroyed several Kh-101/55, Kinjal, Iskander-M (KN-23) missiles, and probably a hypersonic Zircon type missile. In addition, it was possible to shoot down about a dozen attack drones that were moving in the direction of Kyiv.
