The heating season in Ukraine has not yet started. Deputy Prime Minister Yulia Svyridenko noted that the government is waiting for the average daily temperature to drop to +8°C to start heating.
Additional information about the timing of the start of heating has not yet been presented, and the situation remains under control.
Currently, Ukraine needs to urgently solve the issue of gas imports due to the decrease in domestic production, which was also reported by Svyridenko.
Information about the volume of gas imports, which are currently classified by the government, is important. Nevertheless, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has already decided to allocate funds for gas for the heating season of 2025-2026.
The start-up of heating will take place in stages: first, social institutions — hospitals, schools, and kindergartens — will receive heat, and only then will residential buildings receive heat.
