The premiere of the cartoon will take place on April 1 / UNIAN collage / ScreenshotsUniversal Pictures has released the first trailer for the animated film “Super Mario Galaxy at the Movies”, which continues the story of the hit “Super Mario Brothers at the Movies”.
In the video, viewers are introduced to one of the most beloved characters in the universe – the dinosaur Yoshi, who joins Mario’s team. The plot of the upcoming film unfolds in an even larger cosmic dimension. Intergalactic adventures, bright worlds and new challenges for the main characters await the audience.
As you know, the animated adventure film is based on the iconic Nintendo video game series. The project is a direct continuation of the film 2023, which became a global phenomenon and collected more than 1.3 billion dollars at the international box office.
Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenik, who also worked on the first part, acted as directors of the new film. In the original version of the animation, the star cast from the 2023 hit returned to their roles. The main character Mario is again voiced by Chris Pratt, Princess Peach by Anya Taylor-Joy, and Luigi by Charlie Day. Super Mario Galaxy at the Movies is scheduled for release on April 1, 2026.
As UNIAN reported, earlier a fan of the game “Super Paper Mario” noticed a creepy detail – according to him, after losing all his lives, Mario’s character simply goes to hell.
