The Sumy Regional Military Administration denied information that Russian troops broke through the border near the settlements of Zhuravka and Prohody.

As reported by Ukrinform, Sumy OVA announced this on Facebook.

“According to the data of the Security and Defense Forces, the information circulating on the Internet about the breakthrough by Russian troops of the state border near the settlements of Zhuravka and Prohody is not confirmed,” the message says.

It is emphasized that the situation at the border remains difficult, but stable. The security and defense forces hold the border and are ready to repel the enemy.

According to the OVA, during the last month, as before, individual attempts of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups to enter the territory of Sumy region were recorded. But all DRGs are destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.
