Defense forces of Ukraine hit the radar station of the S-400 air defense system of the Russian occupiers.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Sunday, November 24.
It is noted that on the night of November 24, units of the missile forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, launched a group attack on the positions of the anti-aircraft missile division 1490 of the anti-aircraft missile regiment 6 of the Russian army in the territory of the Kursk region.
“A successful hit to the radar station of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile complex was recorded,” the message reads.
It is emphasized that this enemy unit carried out combat work in the ground-to-ground mode, that is, hitting land-based stationary targets. Civilian objects and peaceful residents of settlements in the front-line regions of Ukraine mostly fall under such blows of the invaders.
Earlier, the governor of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, Oleksiy Smirnov, said that on the night of Sunday, November 24, Russian air defense allegedly shot down two Ukrainian missiles and 27 UAVs in the sky over the region.
Enemy Z-publics claimed that the Kursk region was struck by approximately five foreign long-range missiles, probably ATACMS or Storm Shadow.
