According to the newspaper, 16 of the 38 Russian oil refineries have been shot since early August, some of them have repeatedly.
FT writes that exports of diesel fuel, if it retains the current rate, will fall to the lowest monthly rate since 2020, according to OILX and VORTEXA, which track the loads.

Russia is the second largest exporter of diesel fuel in the world, about half of its cargo falls to Turkey, followed by other markets of Western and North Africa and Brazil.
Although Moscow has introduced prohibitions on export of Russian gasoline during most of this year, its sale of diesel fuel abroad is not limited.
Since the beginning of 2024, Russian refineries have regularly affected Ukrainian drones. Some plants failed the installation of primary oil processing, which required repair.
Most attacks by the Armed Forces General Staff confirmed that “consistently implement measures aimed at undermining the military and economic potential of the Russian Federation, in particular its ability to provide occupation troops with fuel, ammunition and weapons, as well as to stop armed aggression against Ukraine.”
