Chrome from Google is the most popular browser on PC and smartphones / PC World PhotoThe share of Google Chrome in the global desktop browser market in July 2025 increased to 69.98%, approaching the new historical maximum. This is evidenced by a fresh report by the Statcounter analytical agency.
Microsoft competitor is in second place, but the gap between the two browsers is significant and increases. Last month, Microsoft Edge lost a lot of users, declining to 11.8% from 13.06%.

- Microsoft Edge-11.8% (-1.26)
- Apple Safari-6.51% (-1.83)
- Mozilla Firefox-5.32% (-0.52)

The most popular browsers in the worldIn Ukraine, the situation is similar, with the exception of EDGE, which is only in fifth place, despite the fact that Microsoft’s solution is the default browser in Windows 10 and 11.
The most popular browser in UkraineThe mobile browser market for the total share of Chrome and Safari accounts for almost 90%. At the same time, the chromium is ahead of Apple’s decision with a large enough separation. They are followed by Samsung Internet (3.5%) and Opera (1.68%).
Earlier, Google boasted that Chrome became a record fast, but users were not happy. Chromium still “eats” too much RAM and discharges a laptop earlier than any other browser.
