According to Nvidia, there should be no problems with fps frame generation.
Nvidia showed STALKER 2 gameplay in 4K and with DLSS 3 / photo GSCOn the eve of tomorrow’s release of STALKER 2, Nvidia Corporation shared with gamers a new trailer for the Ukrainian shooter. In the video, you can appreciate the beauty of the Zone and its surroundings in 4K resolution and with DLSS 3 and Reflex technologies.The use of DLSS 3 frame generation technology gives a significant increase in the performance of STALKER 2, Nvidia assures. In some cases, the frame rate increases by 2.5 times.
However, Nvidia did not specify which video card the video was shot on. But it is not so difficult to guess.
Nvidia previously shared the results of internal testing of the STALKER 2 release build on GeForce RTX 40 video cards with and without DLSS. According to tests, only GeForce RTX 4070 and higher cards can provide a frame rate of more than 60 Fps in native Full HD resolution. In the case of 1440p, this will require a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super.
At a minimum, a PC with an Intel Core i7-7700K processor, at least eight gigabytes of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 580 or GeForce GTX 1060 video card is required to run the shooter. You will also need 160 GB of SSD space.
We remind you that the official release of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will take place tomorrow, November 20, at 18:00 Kyiv time. The game will be available on PC and Xbox Series, including Xbox Game Pass. Owners of the game on a console from Microsoft can already pre-download it.
We will remind, on the eve of the release, GSC raised the prices for all editions of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl on Steam and EGS. Now the cost of the game is close to the price from the Microsoft Store. That is, the cheapest edition will cost UAH 1,399. However, it is still cheaper than many modern AAA novelties.
