During the new episode, the presenter, 35, sought reassurance from her personal physiologist after feeling ‘snappy’ and admitting her ‘tolerance was at an all time low.’
After catching up with her sister Jemma, who admits both herself and her sister are ‘hypochondriacs,’ Stacey revealed she has her medical professional on speed dial.
‘I think I’m going through the menopause, I’m perimenopausal, I’m so snappy and tired. I wake up tired, I have eight hours sleep and I wake up and I’m exhausted,’ she told Jemma.
‘On mum’s side the menopause came early so we’re likely to go through it early too.’
Replying Jemma joked: ‘You’ve got to remember you have 18 children, 17 dogs, 45 chickens, you work full time, you have a busy life.’
Stacey added: ‘If you could test tolerance mine would be at it’s all time low.
‘If I am going through the menopause and that’s it no more children for me, then I think I will open an animal sanctuary.’
The TV personality later arranged a meeting with her physiologist Dr Olly, with her husband Joe Swash sitting in on the conversation.
Speaking to Olly she explained: ‘I feel like I’m drying out. I think my ovaries are pruned and they have said goodbye.
‘All my friends on Loose Women talk about it all the time. Some things I can’t relate. But I do think that as I get older I do get more agitated.’
After their meeting, Stacey added to the camera: ‘My health anxiety started when I had Zach. I think when you have kids you start to recognise your own morality.
‘Meeting Olly and having that friend that can go down the rabbit hole with you has really helped.’
Around the world, the average ages of menopause are between 44 and 53 years old. Signs include irregular periods, hot flashes and fluctuations in mood leading to irritability, anxiety or depression.
Stacey and her husband Joe opened the doors of their beloved home, Pickle Cottage, for cameras to film a ‘Kardashians-style’ TV show, titled Stacey & Joe, focused on their family life.
The show follows the couple juggling their careers with raising their children Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, and Stacey’s sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from previous relationships.
The couple – who tied the knot in 2022 – have been insistent on showing both the ups and the downs, explaining that they weren’t ‘trying to portray a glamorous lifestyle’.
Sources recently claimed a seventh baby could be on the cards for Stacey and Joe.
They told The Mirror: ‘No one would be surprised if baby number seven came along an idea of a baby is never off the table.
‘They’ve both got so much love to give and Joe is the best, most hands-on dad.
‘They would have another baby if the time was right, but their lives are so busy. They’ve talked about Joe having a vasectomy but even then they’ve joked about it being reversible. No one would be surprised if a number seven came along.’
Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Stacey and Joe.
Two years ago Stacey appeared to firmly rule out having anymore kids, explaining: ‘Me and Joe spoke about it when we had one night away.
‘We could not have any more kids. At this point, we are struggling, to say the least, to be good parents and try to work and do everything else in between. So no, not right now.’
It is a natural part of ageing, which occurs in women between 45 and 55 years old.
However 1 in 100 women can experience menopause before the age of 40, which is known as premature menopause or premature ovarian insufficiency.
Symptoms often include hot flushes, night sweats, low mood, reduced sex drive, vaginal dryness, an increase in facial hair and difficulty sleeping.
According to NHS advice, symptoms can begin months or even years before your periods stop and last around four years after your last period.
Premature or early menopause can occur at any age, and in many cases, there’s no clear cause.
