It looks like Spotify is working on a new feature that will allow audiobook fans to pick up where they left off in a printed book, Android Authority reports. UNN.
Details “Spotify seems to be preparing a really thoughtful feature that will satisfy the interests of book lovers and fans of audiobooks. Amazon has already implemented this with e-books and audiobooks, but Spotify is taking it one step further, not forgetting fans of paper books, too,” the article stated.
According to the publication, Spotify is developing a new feature called Page Match “that will allow you to seamlessly switch between audiobooks and print editions.”
“When you scan a page in a paper book using your phone’s camera, Spotify will take you directly to the appropriate place in the audiobook,” the publication writes.
The feature reportedly works both ways, as well as allowing you to switch from an audiobook to a print version.
