EUR 100 million will be allocated within the framework of the PURL instrument for the purchase by NATO states of the USA of weapons for Ukraine. 215 million euros will be allocated through the EU SAFE instrument, which will allow to finance the purchase of anti-drone products, radars and equipment, which, in particular, is produced by Spanish enterprises.

President Zelensky clarified that the aid package will include, in particular, missiles for air defense systems, namely 40 missiles for IRIS-T systems.

Earlier on Tuesday, Zelenskyi met with representatives of Spanish defense companies, they discussed joint projects.

Commenting on his visit to Spain, Zelensky noted that Ukraine is working to ensure that the meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez “brings agreements that will give us more strength.”
