Details: A series of storms in recent days in Portugal failed to deter voters, and turnout was about the same as in the first round on January 18, even though several small municipalities were forced to postpone voting for a week due to flooding.
With 95% of the vote counted, Seguro won 66%. Ventura trailed by 34%, but still got a far better result than the 22.8% his Chega party got in last year’s general election.
