The last Sunday of 2025 will bring Ukrainians snow, sleet and a stormy northwest wind. According to forecaster Nataliya Didenko, wind gusts will reach 15-20 m/s, and temperatures will remain relatively mild – in the afternoon from 2° of frost to 3° of heat. At night, the roads may freeze, so ice will make movement more difficult.
Wet snow, strong wind and temperature close to zero are expected in Kyiv tomorrow. Didenko warns: “It will freeze at night, so ice is already freely felt on the roads, be careful.” Wet weather with periodic snow will continue in the following days.
Starting from December 30, Ukraine will be covered by a new wave of cold weather, and by the New Year the frosts will intensify. The forecast for January shows that the average temperature will be colder than normal -1° to -7°, which is about 1.5 degrees above normal, and precipitation will remain within the normal range.
