“The supply of oil to Hungary is stopped again! This is another attack on our country’s energy security. This is another attempt to get us into the war,” he said.
Siyarto in his post stressed that Hungary will continue “to maintain peaceful efforts and protect national interests.”
We will remind, on the night against August 18 the units of the forces of the unmanned systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with other forces of defense struck the oil pumping station “Nikolske” in the Tambov region of Russia.
Siyarto then hinted at the possible termination of electricity supply from Hungary to Ukraine despite the fact that such supplies are made on a commercial basis.
The European Commission in turn stated that the Ukrainian attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline did not affect the supply of oil to Hungary and Slovakia, despite Budapest’s complaints towards Kiev.
On the evening of August 19, Siyarto announced the restoration of Russian oil supply to his country by the Druzhba Puppies.
