Sinner defeated Fritz and single-handedly topped the group in the Final Tournament

Number one in the world ranking Yannick Sinner (Italy) won the second match at the 2024 ATP Finals tournament, which is held on indoor hard courts in Turin (Italy).

In the 1st round of the Nastase Group, the Italian lost in two sets Taylor Fritz (USA, ATP 5) in 1 hour and 41 minutes.

This was the fourth meeting of the rivals. Sinner won the third head-to-head.

In one quartet, Yannick and Taylor perform together with Daniil Medvedev and Alex de Minaur. Previously, the Australian gave way to “neutral” in two parties.

In the 1st round, Sinner dealt with de Minaur, and Fritz defeated Medvedev. Yannick, with two wins, single-handedly leads the quartet and has the best chance of reaching the playoffs. In the last round, the Italian will meet Daniil.
