From January 22, the schedule of trains, in particular suburban trains, will be adjusted. This is necessary to reduce delays caused by increased intensity sailing on the Fastivska branch, which was hit by an enemy attack in December. In addition, there will be changes in certain directions for security reasons. “Ukrzaliznytsia” informs about this.
In general, more than a hundred schedules of suburban trains throughout Ukraine were reviewed, which will make it possible to “unload” the busiest sections and, accordingly, reduce delays. “When choosing a specific train, it is important to pay attention to the date, it must be exactly “effective from 01.22.2026″! Until then, we apologize: delays of 1-2 hours are possible, depending on the load on the Fastivska branch. As the Informant reported, after the massive attack on the Kyiv region on the night of December 6, “Ukrzaliznytsia” reported significant disruptions in the movement of suburban trains. Damaged infrastructure makes it impossible for trains to travel on the usual routes, so some flights have been canceled, and others will go on new routes. The changes are valid during this day and concern directions to Slavutych, Kyiv and Zhytomyr.
During the night and morning of December 6, Russia attacked Ukraine with drones, Daggers, ballistic missiles and Calibers. Sirens sounded in most regions, and the Air Force reported missile launches and the movement of strike UAVs. Civil infrastructure was damaged in Kyiv region, three people were injured in Vyshgorod district. Some households were damaged, rescuers were working during the air alert.
