On November 25-26, Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga, on behalf of President Volodymyr Zelenskyi, will visit Italy to participate in the ministerial meeting of the Group of Seven
It is noted that today Sibiga will hold a series of bilateral negotiations with his Italian colleague Antoni Tajani, the head of EU diplomacy Josep Borrell, and foreign ministers of the countries of the “Global South”.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs specified that Sybiga had already held a meeting with the State Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Mohamed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Hulaifi, where they discussed the energy needs of Ukraine.
Tomorrow, November 26, Sybiga will take part in a special session of the Group of Seven ministerial meeting dedicated to Ukraine, as well as a series of bilateral talks with US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot, Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly, and German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock.
“The key topic of the negotiations will be the strengthening of support for Ukraine against the backdrop of recent aggressive steps by the Russian Federation, in particular, the involvement of North Korean troops in aggression, the shelling of Ukraine with a medium-range ballistic missile, air terror against civilians, critical infrastructure and the energy system,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted.

Ministers of foreign affairs of the G7 countries are meeting in Fiuga and Anania in Italy to discuss, among other things, the issue of the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine. The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiga, is expected to attend the meeting.
