“Together we received a decision regarding the candidate status and the start of negotiations. We are coordinating with Moldova and are heading down this road together.
I believe that it is our national interest to jointly achieve this goal, to become a part of the European Union,” Sybiga emphasized.
What preceded:
- On October 20, a constitutional referendum on European integration was held in Moldova. According to the Central Election Commission, the turnout at the referendum was 50.72%.
