The Russians try to enlist the IAEA support in their attempt to assign the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZPP).

About it reported Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

According to Sibiga, Russia laid 200 kilometers of power lines on the left bank of the Dnieper, preparing for an attempt to seize the station, connect it to the power grid and launch it again.

“Russia’s attempt to connect the ZPP again can be the worst of all and to be the greatest risk. Moscow is actively trying to attract the IDA to this adventure and justify its admiration of the ZPP.

Such a scenario leads to the irreversible collapse of the peaceful nuclear order created by the IAEA. “Sibiga says.

The minister added that Ukraine demands that the agency takes a fundamental position under which the Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant must be returned to Ukraine, its legal owner.

“We urge all countries interested in nuclear security and protection, clearly make it clear to Moscow that its nuclear adventure should end,” the Foreign Minister added.

Recall:

External power supply to the Zaporozhye NPP occupied by Russia disconnected For more than three days, which has been a record shutdown that has caused fear about the security of the station.
