The main goals of the Russian Federation remained unchanged: energy facilities and residential areas, added the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“Putin cynically ordered a brutal massive missile attack on Ukraine at the very moment when delegations were gathering in Abu Dhabi to promote the peace process under the auspices of the United States. His missiles hit not only our people, but also the negotiating table,” he emphasized.
According to the minister, this attack is evidence that “Putin’s place is not at the table of peace negotiations, but on the bench of the special tribunal.”
We will remind: On the night of January 24, Russian strike drones targeted residential buildings in Kharkiv’s Industrial and Nemyshlian districts. Apartments in a high-rise building burned, a dormitory with displaced persons, a hospital and a maternity hospital were damaged. 14 people were injured, including a pregnant woman and a child.
The Russian occupiers hit Kyiv with attack drones and ballistic missiles. Hits were recorded in three districts, at least one person was killed and three injured in serious condition.
It is worth noting that the first day of negotiations with the Russian and American delegations in the United Arab Emirates ended on the evening of January 23.
