Details: The Minister stressed that Russia is an existential threat to all of Europe and the Euro -Atlantic space and called for strong decisions to stop Russian aggression.
“In order for its (Russia, ed.) To stop, we must make extraordinary and bold decisions. They are based on our unity and support of Ukraine by partners,” he said.
According to Sibiga, in Hague, at a meeting with colleagues from NATO member states, he felt that “understanding of threats from Russia is growing.”
That preceded: Recently, it became known that the European Union plans to leave Russia’s assets in the EU in the amount of 210 billion euros frozen to send extraordinary profits from them in favor of Ukraine at least by the end of 2025.
The EU has long been discussing the confiscation of frozen assets of the Russian Federation and their transfer to Ukraine.
However, major countries, such as France, Germany, Italy, Spain, oppose it because they fear that, having confiscated funds, the EU will scare off international investors and lose its greatest advantage in peace talks.
