With the decree signed on January 19 on the implementation of NSDC sanctions, Zelensky blocked the assets of a number of pro-Russian figures and deprived them of state awards.

Thus, the president deprived politicians and propagandists of awards and blocked their assets, in particular, Nestor Shufrych, Yuriy Boyko, Yevgeniy Murayev, Oleg Voloshyn, Petro Symonenko, former deputy editor-in-chief of Strana.yua publication Svitlana Kryukova.
In total, 18 people were sanctioned:

▪️ Yevgeny Muraev is a fugitive People’s Deputy, suspected of treason
▪️Yuriy Boyko – People’s Deputy from the banned OPZZ
▪️ Yevhen Horokhov – ex-deputy of the Donetsk Regional Council
▪️Leonid Baisarov – former deputy from the Party of Regions
▪️ Oleksandr Odnoralenko – henchman of the militants of the so-called LDR, who had the title of Hero of Ukraine
▪️Leonid Litvinov – ex-Deputy from the Party of Regions
▪️ Oleg Voloshyn – ex-Deputy of the People’s Republic of Ukraine, Medvedchuk’s henchman
Petro Symonenko is the leader of the banned Communist Party
▪️ Kostyantyn Hrygoryshyn – businessman
▪️Serhiy Karyakin is a traitorous chess player, a member of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation

Let us remind you that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy by his decree approved new sanctions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. They are directed “at those who go against the country.”
The day before, on January 18, when announcing new sanctions, Zelensky thanked the law enforcement officers for their effective work against traitors and various schemes that weakened the state.
On January 18, law enforcement agencies reported:
- about the detention of two employees of the company, who in mid-2022, together with a Russian through an intermediary from a third country, transferred material resources to Russia in the amount of more than 115 thousand US dollars. These materials were transferred to the United Institute of Nuclear Research in the Moscow Region, Russian Federation.
- about the detention of an employee of Ukrzaliznytsia and the metro for treason and denial of Russia’s attack on Ukraine.
- about the announcement to the people’s deputy of Ukraine of suspicion of organizing an illegal border crossing. In the near future, the court will choose a preventive measure policy – the prosecutor’s office requests detention.
- about reports of suspicion of the “curator” of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine, a member of parliament of several convocations from the banned pro-Russian party “Opposition Bloc”. He is suspected of treason and inciting religious enmity and hatred. According to preliminary information, it is about Vadym Novinskyi.
