He came to pick up the reissued card, but faced delays and complications due to technical problems and power outages. According to Shovkovsky, the bank left him without access to funds and without support, writes on Facebook.
“Yesterday, I came to the PrivatBank branch to pick up a reissued card. There is no light. I was photographed with the card… Twice, because the first time the system didn’t miss it – it was semi-dark. It was difficult, but they “managed”. I received a call to confirm the PIN change – I answered and at the same moment I was simply “thrown out” of the Privat24 system, wtf…” Shovkovskyi described his situation.
He added that the personal banker had promised to help but had not called after an hour and a half. The mobile application did not work, and it was impossible to contact the bank representatives. Only after Shovkovsky’s wife helped convey the request did the bank call – however, they were advised to go through identification again through a terminal or an ATM. “Are you serious? I came to the department personally. What other proofs of my identity do I need that I am not a fraud? And now the main question arises: Do I need such a VIP service? And do I need such a bank? Because when a client with a 20-year history is left without access to their own funds, without support and without responsibility, this is not a service. This is disrespectful and bad service. And no one needs bad service,” he concluded.
Shovkovsky urged the bank to pay more attention to real customer service, rather than formalities, and emphasized that any VIP service should work and not create problems.
