Seven Ukrainian retail networks evaded the payment of 668 million VAT

Karnauh said their activities of a legal entity artificially distributed between dozens of FOPs, which work on a simplified tax system.

According to her, 491 such FOPs were found in total. Their total income is over UAH 4 billion. FOPs are interconnected: use the same IP addresses, have joint places of registration, work at the same outlets, use one trademark and even have joint workers.

Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko explained that in Ukraine they want to create a register of bank accounts and individual banking safes of individuals that will control the State Tax Service. This should help adapt payments to the euro – SEPA area.

Since the beginning of 2025, the State Tax Service of Ukraine has conducted more than two thousand inspections in the field of retail trade in equipment and electronics.
