Set fire to relay cabinets: law enforcement officers reported suspicion to seven persons

Seven people received reports of suspicion of diversions after arson of relay cabinets in different regions of Ukraine, in particular in Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions. According to the investigation, the suspects agreed to accomplish the task that they were offered through Telegram for reward. Seven people received reports of suspicion of diversions after arson of relay cabinets in different regions of Ukraine, in particular in Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.

According to the investigation, the suspects agreed to accomplish the task that they were offered through Telegram for reward.

They poured relay cabinets with a flammable substance and set them on fire, fixing the process on the camera to report on the work done. This has led to serious consequences for energy infrastructure.

All suspects are currently in preventive measures. The investigation is carried out by the SBU with prompt support of the National Police, and procedural management is carried out by the prosecutor’s office of Mykolaiv, Kyiv and Zhytomyr regions.
