The Head of the State Emergency Service Andriy Danyk said that even decades after the Chernobyl accident, the nonsense did not disappear.

“39 years since the Chornobyl disaster… This is a tragedy that has changed the course of history… But even after decades, the danger has not disappeared. Russian troops completely ignore the tragic experience of the past years and try to attack the exclusion zone and capture the Chernobyl objects. For three years, Zaporizhzhya NPPs have been living in hostages, and the world has been living in anticipation of the worst, ”Danyk quotes the SES press service.

“The hostile hit, explosions, fires – all this resembles: the threat has not disappeared. But we will stand. Because for us is true. And the memory of those who proved the cost of life: heroes exist, ”he added.

April 26 is 39 years since the Chornobyl disaster.

In February this year, the authorities of Ukraine reported that the Russian shock drone with a special fighting part hit the shelter of the destroyed 4th power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Chernobyl shelter was damaged, the cells and ignition were eliminated for about a month.
