SES: 22 people were killed in reservoirs in Ukraine, including 6 children

In Ukraine, 22 people, including six children, were killed in the reservoirs last week, the State Emergency Service reported.

“Yes, in the Kherson region the water took the lives of three children: 9-year-old and 13-year-old boys and a 14-year-old girl. In Odesa region, three boys were killed under the ice. They failed under the ice at the local pond. It was not possible to save children, ”the SES reminded.

Rescuers urged not to go out to the ice, emphasizing that “even strong, at first glance, ice may not withstand at any time.”

On February 15, the search for three children who fell under the ice on the Ingulets River ended in Kherson region.

Also on February 15 in the village of Korsunka, Odessa district, three guys, two of whom for 15 and one 14 years, failed under the ice on a local pond, and the children could not be saved.
