According to Russian mass media, the other day in the Voronezh region, visitors to the Zhara nightclub in Borysoglebsk decided to continue dancing on the street. They turned on Serdyuchka’s song “Gulyanochka” at full volume, which contains the words “Ukraine is not dead yet.”

Other Russians were outraged by the Ukrainian artist’s choice of song, so soon the police detained a man who turned on the song “Everything will be fine” in his car that night. The Russian was forced to apologize on video:

“I included inappropriate music by Verka Serdyuchka. With inappropriate words. I would like to apologize and repent. This will not happen again in the future. I support the course of Russia and the special military operation.”

We will remind you that Crimea, occupied by the Russians, suffers especially from the unofficial ban on Ukrainian music. On the peninsula, people who listened to songs by Ukrainian performers were repeatedly detained and forced to apologize.
