Today, September 25, everyone can join the event dedicated to the literary and artistic genre, which has not lost its relevance until now, and in many ways influenced the development of animation and cinematography – the Day of Comics, writes UNN.

It is mistakenly believed that the first comics appeared in the USA. In fact, the birthplace of comics is Europe. In 1825, The Glasgow Looking Glass, a publication specializing in this genre, was founded.

Later, in 1895, Richard Felton created comics with permanent characters.

But in the USA, the first comic was printed in 1892. And it is in this country that this genre has become a cult, and comic book fans have created their own subculture.

September 25 is World Pharmacist Day. Polya was officially introduced in 2009 in Istanbul during the founding conference of the International Pharmaceutical Organization.

Even today you can celebrate the World Day of Dreams. The event was initiated by the American writer, public figure, corporate culture expert Ozioma Egwuongwu.

According to the estimates of some researchers, about 50% of an adult’s thoughts are dreams.

It is interesting that even today there are many specialists in psychology who believe that dreaming is harmful, and dreams themselves are called a manifestation of human laziness.

According to the church calendar, September 25 is the Memorial Day of Reverend Ephrosinia of Alexandria.

Ephrosinia grew up in a Christian family. When the girl turned 18, her father decided to marry her off and sent her to a monastery for a blessing.

But Euphrosinia decided to devote her life to serving the Lord. She took monastic vows, and so that her father would not find her, she went to a men’s monastery. There she called herself Izmaragd, and lived with this name for almost 40 years.

According to legend, the disconsolate father repeatedly communicated with the “monk Izmaragd”, but did not recognize her as his daughter.

Only before his death did the “monk” admit that he was Euphrosyne.

Name days on September 25 are celebrated by Efrosinia, Semyon, Fedir, Julian
