Ukrainian tennis player Darya Snigur (WTA 144) received an opponent in the second round of the main draw of the WTA 250 tournament in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

In the round of 16, the Ukrainian will take the court against the second seed Jacqueline Christian (Romania, WTA 35), who lost in her first round match in three sets Lucretsia Stefanini (Italy, WTA 140) with a score of 6:2, 2:6, 7:5.

For Christian, this is the sixth appearance in the base of Cluj. In 2024, she reached the semifinals on these courts.
