Political scientist Oleksiy Holobutskyi writes about this.The expert believes that without the sea corridor, the state would not be able to export products through its ports, which would stop many factories and agricultural production. “Ukraine controls its own exports and imports and does not depend on other countries. In addition, the path provided by sea drones allows the transportation of not only agricultural products, as was the case during the existence of the “Grain Agreement” with the Kremlin, but also other cargo. For example now our state can export ore cargoes, the volume of which has increased to 16.7 million tons compared to 3.2 million tons in 2023. I can guarantee: there would be no sea corridor, c Ukraine would have the entire iron ore and metallurgical industry,” Holobutsky emphasizes.
The political scientist emphasizes that the SBU sea drones have radically changed the situation on the Black Sea. “Russia, which considered itself the master in the region, is now not in control of the situation. All enemy warships are under the sights of drones, and therefore cannot stop the work of our sea corridor. I note that thanks to the constant development and improvement of new types of weapons, Malyuka’s subordinates are always on a step ahead. As soon as the Russians think they have adapted to the tactics of the Service and naval drones, a new, unexpected strike follows, to which the enemy not prepared,” the expert is confident.
“In the conditions of war, the domestic economy has more than enough problems. High risks significantly complicate both current work and strategic planning. However, one should also understand the dangers that Ukraine was able to avoid. The stable operation of the maritime corridor, which is guarded by SBU maritime drones, is a key factor in our economic stability,” Holobutsky sums up.
It will be recalled that earlier it became known that the Security Service of Ukraine for the first time hit helicopters and airplanes of Muscovites with naval drones.
