Schedules of emergency power outages, introduced in seven regions as a result of the Russian mass missile attack on the energy sector in the morning, have been canceled, consumption has increased due to a decrease in the efficiency of household SPPs, NEC “Ukrenergo” reported on Wednesday, writes UNN.

“As a result of the morning massive rocket attack on energy facilities, emergency shutdown schedules were forcibly implemented in seven regions: Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya and Kirovohrad. As of 9:00 a.m., the use of GAV in all the specified regions was canceled.” , – informed the NEC.

“Today, January 15, electricity consumption, as of 9:30 a.m., was 2.3% higher than at the same time the previous day, on Tuesday. The reason for the increase is cloudy weather in some regions and a decrease in the efficiency of domestic SPPs.” – says the message.

Yesterday, January 14, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the morning. It was 2.8% lower than the previous day’s high on Monday, January 13. This, as indicated, is explained by the increase in air temperature in most regions of Ukraine (except the western regions).

Emergency and recovery works at power facilities are ongoing.

“From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. today, it is still necessary to consume electricity sparingly. If possible, do not use powerful electrical appliances at the specified time and do not turn on several such appliances at the same time,” urged Ukrenergo.
