“On September 19, three Russian Mig -31 fighters made a planned flight from a carriage to the airfield to the Kaliningrad region. The flight was strictly in accordance with the international rules of use of airspace, without violating the borders of other states, which is confirmed by means of objective control,” the statement said.
They argue that during the flight Russian planes from the agreed air route allegedly did not deviate and the air space of Estonia seemed to be not violated.
“The aircraft flight route ran above the neutral waters of the Baltic Sea waters at a distance of more than three kilometers from Windlo Island,” the Defense Ministry added.
