Sebastian Fundora is not going to fight Serhiy Bogachuk”, — write: sport.ua

WBC and WBO world champion in the first middleweight (up to 69.9 kg) Sebastian Fundora (21–1–1, 13 KOs) has finally decided on an opponent for his upcoming title defense.

Initially, the American planned to meet his compatriot Errol Spence, but the World Boxing Organization did not sanction this fight due to the low activity of the opponent. The day before, it became known that Fundora will fight against another American – the little-known Chordale Booker (23-1, 11 KOs).

The evening of boxing will take place on March 22 at the “Michelob ULTRA Arena” in Las Vegas (USA) and will be broadcast for free on the Amazon Prime platform.

Interestingly, Booker ranks only fifth in the WBO ranking. According to the WBC line, Fundora has a mandatory contender – Ukrainian Serhii Bogachuk has repeatedly challenged the champion to a fight, but the American does not yet notice a potential opponent.
