On the basis of the evidence collected, the security service investigators informed Hryhoriy Lepverdze in absentia of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
- Part 3 of Art. 110-2 (financing of actions taken for the purpose of violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, change of boundaries of the territory or state border of Ukraine);
- Part 3 of Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition legitimate, denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
Since the suspect is hiding from justice in Russia, comprehensive measures are underway to hold it responsible for crimes against our country.
The department adds that the investigation was conducted by SBU staff in the Ternopil region under the procedural leadership of the regional prosecutor’s office.
