According to the press service of the department, the court found it guilty under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (State betrayal committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons in martial law).
The DKAU official was detained this spring during a meeting at the Ministry of Strategic Industry. According to the case, his Russian intelligence service was recruited remotely in 2024-for this purpose the FSB involved his wife, who lives in Rostov-on-Don and cooperates with the occupiers.
According to the investigation, the Russian Federation was interested in secret information that the agent had access, in particular in the field of satellite images and the location of strategic enterprises. Among other things, the FSB tried to obtain agent information about the dislocation of plants that produce navigation systems and high -precision weapons for Ukraine’s defense.
Ukrainian law enforcement officers regularly report the detention of persons whom they call Russian agents. They are suspected in the state community, sabotage to order Russian special services.
