The SBU says that at least 60 episodes of the transmission of information with restricted access to the former Deputy Head of Yanukovych’s security by the person were documented.
The said employee collected and passed the constituent data of Ukrainian law enforcement and other citizens for the enemy’s special services, and prosecutors are added. He extracted personal information from a closed database of law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.
For each task, law enforcement officers claim, the agent received money from the curator who came to his bank card.
It is noted that after a thorough documentation of the crimes of the NABU employee, he was detained by SBU and OGP employees. He removed the phone and computer equipment, which he used for contact with the curator.
The NABU employee was informed of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: under Part 1 of Art. 111 (State betrayal) and Part 3 of Art. 362 (unauthorized actions with information that is processed in electronic computers (computers), automated systems, computer networks or stored on the media of such information committed by a person entitled to access it).
