The man found unauthorized withdrawal from Savings Bank account for the amount of 25 850 UAH
The unspecified persons withdrew from the credit card of the Savings Bank client 25 850 UAH. The account has a negative balance, and it requires the financial institution to compensate for the specified amount. This information was published in the decision of the Central District Court of Nikolaev of August 28, 2025.
On September 11, 20124, two/7 Savings Credit Card was conducted by two transfers to the card of JSC “Taskombank” – 850 UAH and UAH 25 thousand. The man denies his involvement in these operations. He believes that from his account there was an unlawful withdrawal of funds due to improper protection of data from the bank. As a result of these actions, UAH 25,850 was withdrawn from the account. The victim applied to law enforcement officers, and on 13.09.2024 a pre -trial investigation under Part 4 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
On January 27, 20125, Oschadbank sent a claim to the court, insisting on refusal to satisfy the requirements. The answer states that the lending contract is concluded in compliance with all formalities, and accusations of unauthorized transfers are not confirmed by the circumstances of the case.
“Contradictory operations were performed correctly with the use of details known only to the client. Savings 24/7 recorded successful authorization, and no evidence of violations by the bank was detected. The responsibility for the transactions lies on the plaintiff,” – said Savings Bank representatives.
What decision did the court make? The court partially met the plaintiff’s claims. JSC “State Savings Bank of Ukraine” was obliged to compensate UAH 25,850, illegally written off on September 11, 2024 from the client’s card account.
“The defendant’s statements that the transfers are initiated by the plaintiff have no confirmation. The case file does not have evidence of the acceptance of the SMS code or interaction with the Bank Chat Bank to confirm the transactions,” the court decision said.
