As noted, within the framework of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that during October – December 2020, officials of the Volyn customs office facilitated the illegal movement of Apple computer equipment through the international checkpoint “Yagodin” without proper payment of customs payments, by pretending to import agricultural machinery that was in use, mechanical equipment, etc.
The investigation documented 8 episodes of criminal activity by officials of the Volyn customs office, who deliberately did not notice the illegal movement of goods, drew up forged documents based on the results of customs formalities, entered false information into the automated system of customs clearance “Inspector”, which illegally minimized customs payments.
We will remind that the former deputy head of the Highway Service in the Kyiv region – the current general director of the municipal corporation Kyivavtodor was informed of the suspicion of official negligence, which caused losses of more than UAH 14 million during the road repair.
