Externally, it almost does not differ from the Galaxy A06, but received several noticeable improvements, writes Android Authority.
First of all, it is a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz instead of 90 Hz. The screen resolution and unattractive U-shaped cutout remained unchanged. The display is also claimed to deliver 800 nits at maximum brightness.
The main feature of the novelty was extended software support: the Galaxy A07 5G will receive six operating system updates. The smartphone comes with One UI 8 based on Android 16, which will allow you to receive updates to Android 22, surpassing even some flagship models. For comparison, the predecessor Galaxy A06 5G was supported for only 4 years.
Galaxy A07 5GThe hardware basically repeats last year’s: MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of built-in memory with microSD expansion up to 2 TB. The battery capacity remains at 6000mAh with support for 25W wired charging. The cameras have also practically not changed – the main 50 MP module repeats last year’s sensor.
Only cosmetic changes have taken place in the design: a thinner side frame, a bright light purple body color and a design of the rear camera unit. Galaxy A07 5G in the configuration with 4 GB of memory was estimated at $ 175, and the version with 6 GB – $ 190.
