The novelty is similar to American inconspicuous winged rocket AGM-158 Jassm.

The video was posted by propaganda Russian media. The rocket can be seen on a fragment from 00:14 to 00:18.
First of all, experts have paid attention to a rather original form, which is why the rocket resembles an American inconspicuous AGM-158 Jassm (Joint Air-To-Surface Standoff Missile). It can be assumed that the Russian novelty is also inconspicuous, and therefore its interception will be quite a difficult task.
Obviously, the rocket is quite large, but the detailed assessment is complicated because the novelty can be seen only a few seconds and only one perspective.
Some Ukrainian experts believe that we are talking about the so -called “parish” – weapons that Russians have recently started to use against Ukraine (earlier assumed that “Banderol” is a drone).
According to the resource “Colonel of GS”, the rocket is used mainly in the coastal areas of the Nikolaev, Odessa region.
Banderol is supposedly designed to be placed on large unmanned aerial vehicles such as Russian Orion. Some of the experts suggest that the speed of the rocket can reach 500 km/h, and the weight of the warhead is approximately 120-140 kg.

Experts have paid attention to the cylindrical casing, which closes the nasal part of the rocket. It is probably shot after starting. It is possible that the casing is needed to protect the product from external damage.
Also, on the video presented, to see the acceleration block, which is located in the tail part of “Zircon” – in detail to see its design features quite difficult because of not very good quality of the video.
